Hot New EV Cars Coming on to The Market
Are you interested in electronic cars? Unfortunately, since the coronavirus pandemic hit in 2020, the development and production of automobiles have significantly slowed down. However, manufacturers are still introducing electronic vehicles (EVs), with dozens of pure models set to debut by the end of 2024.
Specifically, there is said to be an increasing amount of both SUV and pickup EVs. Additionally, you can expect a broader array of plug-in hybrid models, which can run for long periods on electric power.
So, if you’re searching for an alternative-fuel vehicle, you came to the right place. Below, we’ve put together a list of models that will soon be coming your way. Enjoy!
Cadillac Lyriq
The 2023 Cadillac Lyriq showcases next-generation styling, as well as introduces a new modular electric platform. This automobile is roughly the same length and width as the Cadillac XT6 SUV. However, the Lyriq offers a vastly different profile: it’s six inches lower in height and rides on a wheelbase that’s nine inches longer.
The cost ranges from $62,990 to $64,990.
Chevrolet Blazer EV
Fun fact: The Chevrolet Blazer EV is based on GM’s Ultium platform that underpins the automaker’s latest electric models. Further, this is a midsized SUV that will have no problem standing up to its competitors in terms of price, functionality, and range. These competitors include the Ford Mustang Mach-E, Volkswagen ID.4, and Hyundai-Kia pair. This EV will be available in several trims, starting with the 2LT trim for $47,595 with a 293-mile estimated range.
The cost ranges from $47,595 to $65,995.
Fisker Ocean
Are you a Fisker fan? After being absent from the automotive market for about a decade, it’s ready to make its return with an all-new Ocean electric vehicle. Its features are already making a splash, which includes an optional solar roof, the 17-inch center touchscreen that can be rotated to a horizontal or vertical orientation, and “California mode.” This feature can lower all the windows and retracts the roof panel at the touch of a button, ultimately creating a convertible-like feel.
The cost ranges from $37,499 to $68,999.
Honda Prologue
Honda will launch this electric SUV in 2024. The all-new Prologue is being codeveloped with General Motors. This vehicle is billed as an “adventure-ready vehicle” with a long wheelbase and short overhangs. Following the Prologue, you’ll see a variety of Honda EVs based on its new e:Architecture, including models created via a partnership with GM and Sony.
No costs have been released yet.
Jeep Recon
If you’ve been waiting for the next-generation Wrangler, then the Jeep Recon is for you! This EV is designed to compete with the Ford Bronco and Land Rover Defender. Particularly, the Recon has electric axle locking to enhance traction, driver-selectable modes to dial in the capabilities for various environments, and underbody protection. It also has a one-touch power top, plus removable doors, and a rear side window.
No costs have been released yet.
Of course, the above is just a small sample of the EVs coming, so stay tuned for more!
